[1992 - PRESENT] Shawn started his career in high school with the automotive oil change industry in 1992. Starting at the age of 17, he worked tirelessly up the ladder as a young adult until given the opportunity to purchase his own automotive quicklube location at the age of 20 on his own. He started expanding to 11 separate automotive service facility locations between Dallas and Texarkana Texas over the following years, and received two "Top 20 Fastest Growing Quicklube Chains in the United States" award by the A.O.C.A. association. He was also the youngest automotive oil change owner (age 29) to receive the A.O.C.A. awards at that time, and Shawn's unique customer service techniques were featured in industry magazines as a result. However, after many years (and many hours away from his young family), he decided to allow long-term trusted staff and family to assist him in the day to day operations of the quicklube chain. Shawn has since opened other businesses between Texas and Arizona over the years.
[2009-2011] While homeschooling his children and beginning to work from home himself, Shawn then decided to pursue his passion with a career in marketing and sales. For the following 2 years, Shawn advanced his career in sales and marketing of multiple products and services, including internal banking using vested insurance platforms. Not only has he sold various products online, but has also trained many others with his marketing and sales techniques allowing them to be successful in their own niche industry. Shawn then created online training courses for multiple industries. Shawn has a passion for helping others, and for teaching others on what he has learned in the sales and marketing aspect of today’s ever-complex market. In fact, he has held online-classes for multiple brick and mortar type industries, online industries, and even multi-level markets, with tips and strategies for use of each chosen fields of expertise. Shawn also broke the sales record at American United Life with the "First Year Career Agent" award for selling the most insurance products in his first year as an insurance agent with One America Insurance Company.
[2011-2015] While still continuing to home school his children (with the help of his wife, a local Registered Nurse) Shawn took his knowledge of marketing, and his passion for technology and expanded into the United States stock markets with "Robotic Stock Trading Technology" offered by the company Shawn started called Robotic Returns, and held the position of President in. Shawn's company was offering the public a unique third-party robotic stock market technology.
[2015-2017] Shawn expanded his marketing knowledge, and training expertise into the credit card merchant processing industry where he started and co-owned one of the nation’s largest recruiting service companies for that given industry (merchant processing). After launching the company in 2015, his recruiting company Merchant Careers arose to the #1 rank in the U.S. in four short months. Shawn and his employees in this company trained thousands of new door-to-door merchant sales-men and women every month on how to successfully offer merchant processing to companies nationwide. His unique skill and expertise was quickly found by a well-known ISO processor in the U.S.
[2015-2017] In 2015, Shawn became co-owner in a new merchant processing ISO company called First Direct Financial, and moved quickly into the merchant processing arena across the United States. Since building a large team of 2400 sales-men and women through his Merchant Careers company, he quickly became one of the largest networks of credit card merchant sales organizations in the United States in 13 short months. Shawn went on to focus on the next chapter of his entrepreneurial goals.
[2017-PRESENT] With a strong passion for technology and people, Shawn started working with a new technology sector consisting of BLE Bluetooth beacons. Seeing the obvious power in these Bluetooth beacons and quickly realizing that only large corporate entities were able to use them at this point, he wanted to empower the local small business sector with digital Bluetooth signal notification advertising to passing prospect’s mobile devices. Given there was no immediately evident competition in this space, Shawn facilitated a complex yet unique, easy-to-use platform that would make this digital marketing available to any small to medium sized business. Shawn along with local business partners have created a strong, faith based organization that's primed for great success in a young tech industry sector with little to no relative competition. Trinity Proximity was created and has since produced two platform products, NETcinity and cityKONNEKT. Shawn's new patent pending platform not only runs hand-in-hand with Android© NearBy and Apple's iBeacon© technology, but also incorporates a unique localized community branded mobile APP that his company creates for every small to medium sized town in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and South Africa at this time.
